A Selective Timeline of Censorship in the U.S.A.
2002 The
Department of Justice purchases drapes to cover the
two semi-nude art deco statues that have been in the

Stills/Under Attack, an interactive video
by Ennio Bertrand is removed from the Armory
Show at New York City?s Pier 88 after staff complains

as the staging area for attack-related operations.
Remote stills/Under Attack, in which the observer
can move the airplanes as he/she might in a videogame,

distance and security that television and video screens
usually evoke; and the relationship between game, fiction,
and reality.
