NCAC Benefit & Other Events

NCAC will hold a special preview and private tour of the Shelley and Donald Rubin collection of Himalayan art on May 30th in New York City. The Rubin collection, spanning nine centuries, is soon to be featured in the permanent collection of a new museum devoted to Himalayan art to open in New York. The event, which will benefit NCAC, is also a tribute to the memory of Jo List, longtime member and co-chair of NCAC Board of Directors.

Other NCAC upcoming events in New York City include:

May 1-11 Whitebox art gallery exhibit, May Day: The Blame Show. On May 8th a panel discussion, Art Now: Polite, Politic, or Political?, will air perspectives on the current state of free expression and political dissent in the arts.

May 3 Youth & Censorship Colloquium (the New School) sponsored by the Free Expression Policy Project to develop strategies for advancing the free expression rights of youth.
