We’re here to help. We know that book challenges and controversies can feel overwhelming and isolating in these polarized times. NCAC’s Book Challenge Crisis Hotline allows you to meet with an NCAC staff member to report an incident, tell your story, ask questions, and get the answers you need to help defend Kids’ Right to Read. Meetings are private and confidential. We will not share your information with anyone without your permission. As always, you can also Report Censorship with this form.

Virtual meetings will be used to gather information, share resources and support and determine next steps. For more information on how to fight book bans in your community, visit our Book Challenge Resource Center.
