In a letter dated 22 December, 2010, the National Coaltion Against Censorship signed a joint letter with 30 other free speech organizations. The crackdown on WikiLeaks challenges many assumptions regarding a free and open press. The letter reminds the legislators to respect the consitutional rights of publishers and the public long recognized by the Supreme Court.
