We work with students in grades 3 and higher, as well as groups of teachers and other school officials. All of our programming is customizable to your school’s and students’ needs. We are based in New York and can deliver workshops in person or virtually. We would also be happy to work with you to create student-led programs.

Sessions can focus on:

  • Censorship in schools
  • Art censorship
  • Book censorship
  • Protest and political dissent
  • Our Youth Free Expression film contest
  • Policy guidance (for teachers, administrators and other school officials)

If you would like to collaborate on another topic, let us know! We’re happy to work with you.

We offer customized programming designed to meet your needs and work with your curriculum. We have worked broadly with students on understanding the importance of book choice and freedom to read; their protest rights and how they differ in and out of a school context, as well as effective forms of protest and political dissent; student artistic expression and the freedom to create. We are also open to working with small groups of teachers and administrators on developing policies that respect students' rights and empower them to create freely.
