In Memoriam
Mildred Jeffrey, a member of NCAC’s Advisory Council since its inception, died in Detroit, Michigan in March. Millie was a labor and civil rights activist, and a founder of the National Women’s Political Caucus. In 2000, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
