The New York branch of Donald Wildmon’s American Family Association has escalated a long-running attack on a human sexuality course at Nassau Community College into a campaign to replace college trustees. The AFA is urging its members to press the County Executive to appoint new trustees who will eliminate any health ed requirement. Then, their reasoning goes, students won’t be tempted — or, as they say, “guided” — to choose the course. The AFA newsletter luridly describes the college course as “featuring porn films, … a textbook which presents adultery, wife-swapping and fornication as ‘viable options’ to traditional marriage….”

For a look at the extraordinary rhetoric used by the AFA, write to us for their New York summer newsletter.
