Under pressure from the Florida Attorney General, the Superintendent of Hillsborough County Public Schools ordered the removal of 6 titles and temporarily removed over 600 more for review for alleged sexual content.
The National Coalition Against Censorship has written to the school board to urge them to return the books to the shelves and keep them there until they receive a formal complaint for adjudication.
