My film is a documentary style video that reveals college students’ responses to whether or not free speech exists in school. After hearing from the students, my personal theme of the film is illustrated as to be “express yourself.” I added a few musical touches to the film because I think music strengthens any film and cultivates interest among the audience. I chose “express yourself” as my topic because I want to urge kids to express their opinions through free speech because it is our liberty and so we should utilize our precious freedoms. Personally, I do think we have free speech in school, at least in college we do, and I want to show other people that it is a prevalent and beneficial tool to express ourselves through free speech. This is the seed that will amount to change and growth in the world.
