This is a short film that deals with freedom of speech in school. Two students try to bring reform to their classroom so the students can think freely. They must accomplish this while in an environment where the teacher is suppressive and oppressive of all of his students thoughts and ideas. I chose to create a story of this topic because I wanted to bring it out in a performance so that viewers can get a real feel of this issue. I felt the viewers could really understand the issue if they saw people actually experiencing it on the screen. This is just a show of one scenario where freedom of speech in school is a problem. I decided that a presentation of this theme in the form of a story would be the most effective way to bring up the issue of whether there is freedom of speech in school or not.
