In September, Walden Green School students came together to create something big. I think that this is he best example of the true meaning of “freedom of speech”- getting your voice heard. If my school didn’t let our organization form rallies, petition for climate change, and make cool videos like this one, we might not have been the grassroots underdog that we are today. Some schools run like prisons, but my school runs like a quirky home (For example, we are the Walden Walnuts and were almost named Frank Zappa High!). I’m proud to say that my first amendment rights are preserved here at Walden.
