“Your Amendment is showing” is short film that demonstrates that students should have the ability to say how the feel without being persecuted for it. Although the First Amendment states that we as citizens have freedom of speech, it never said that we must abide by it with certain guidelines. Amy is a Student who feels that her teacher is not doing her job correctly, although she has emailed and try to contact the principle a numerous amount of times there is no response. Amy is fed up and takes matters into her own hands. She goes to the Principle and explains to the principle her dilemma but she isn’t listening. Amy is then told to leave her office. The Film quickly rewinds then shows the actual reality of the situation. I choose this topic because I believe that we as students have the right to say what we want and how we want without it leading to consequences.
