NCAC and AAUP have issued a statement in opposition to state legislative proposals (HB 998 and SB 647) that would penalize professional associations and their members for engaging in protected political activity. The bills are constitutionally flawed and ill-conceived.
NCAC has sent a letter to KSU President Dr. Daniel Papp, objecting to the removal of Ruth Stanford's “A Walk in the Valley” artwork from the opening exhibit of the university’s Zuckerman Museum of Art. The University said “A Walk in the Valley” was pulled because it did not fit the "celebratory nature" of the opening.
Congratulations to this year's winners! And we salute all of the 2013 participants for tackling the theme of Video Games in the Crosshairs with depth and style. Watch the films online and join NCAC on March 29th for a special Youth Voices Uncensored Film Screening and Awards event at the New York Film Academy.
